PICKTHAL: Nothing of our revelation (even a single verse) do we abrogate or cause be forgotten, but we bring (in place) one better or the like thereof....
A Message from Her Majesty Queen Rania to Arab Times:
God, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, insists on making His religion easy, practical and enjoyable for His true believers. God also told us that those who reject Him or His books are making life miserable for themselves and for their loved ones who follow in their footsteps.
He reminds us in the Quran that He has placed no hardship on us in practicing our religion (see Quran 22:78)
God established also several rules in His book, the Quran, for His TRUE believers. Breaking any of His rules or refusing any of them means loss, misguidance, misery and eternal suffering.
This is to document my findings and experience during the Oxford conference on Islamic Reform.
To Attend or Not?
This was the key question that was going around in my mind when Edip first announced the plans to hold a conference in Oxford some months back. There had already been two conferences held before for the Islamic Reform movement, the first being in Atlanta in 2008, and the second being in Kazakhstan in 2009.
I had watched parts of the Atlanta conference via webcam - and the negative media coverage that had followed the program (the Atlanta conference was announced under the provocative name “Muslim Heretics”) made me appreciate not attending.
By the time the second conference was announced, I realized that I had a personal responsibility to participate, especially since I have been claiming for the last 13 years to be an advocate of God Alone!
In browsing through a number of Islamicly affiliated sites, I came across one that has a “Combat Kit To Use Against the ‘Quran Only’ Muslims” as its title.
The views such paper represents is not uncommon amongst the Hadith followers who can never be satisfied with the concept of worshipping God Alone and will go to great length to place their invented idols alongside God (denying His very words). This paper is a response to such arguments:
1. Quran Only Muslims?
