Hi everyone!
I'm Persian ex Muslim, I born to Shia Muslim parents in Tehran, Iran & considered myself Shia till sometime back.
Later, troubled by all that was happening in Iran, I tried to still salvage my faith, convinced that the atrocities weren't "true Islam" & became simply Muslim, rejecting the Shia part of my identity.
A trip to Saudi convinced me that Sunni Islam, or Islam had more problems, so I tried becoming some other sort of Muslim, desperate to retain my faith(faith is the hardest thing to abandon, & the easiest to bolster with foolish claims.)
I ame across anti hadith sites, became a hadith rejector.
However, I migrated to USA by then, I met an Afghan taxi driver, who was an ex Muslim, he tried to explain to me in his broken English that Allah doesn't exist, & how bad Islam was. My parents, moderate Muslims were very offended.
I told him all problems were due to hadiths, so he should focus on the Quran.
