The Great 'Fitna' of 9/11/2001

"Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe," without being put to the test?. We have tested those before them, for GOD must distinguish those who are truthful, and He must expose the liars." (29:2-3)

The events of 9/11/2001 shocked the entire world and made people brace for changing and difficult times ahead.

Over 6,000 dead between the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the passengers on the 4 flights which crashed.

In the words of George W. Bush: 'You are either with America, or with the Terrorists!'.

But are things so simply 'black & white'?. Or is there a shade of gray to these events?.

Most people are still dealing with the 'raw' emotions that came-out from that day, and many have already decided which side they stand on and what their actions will be.

What do we as 'Muslims' and followers of the last scripture (The Quran) read into these events and what will our stand be when all are taking sides?.

1. The acts of 9/11/2001 were pure EVIL

"You shall not kill the life which GOD has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If one is killed unjustly, then We give his heir authority to enforce justice. Thus, he shall not exceed the limits in avenging the murder; he will be helped." (17:33)

GOD has 'forbidden' the taking of human life, except in the course of justice or to stop aggression on Earth. In-fact, the Quran speaks to us that the killing of 'one' life is like the killing of the entire world!.

"Because of this (Cain killing Abel), we decreed for the Children of Israel that anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or horrendous crimes, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people..." (5:32)

Under these clear verses, we can state with no ambiguity that the events of 9/11/2001 were EVIL in the 1st degree and represent a clear transgression to the laws of GOD revealed through the Quran.

2. Who is Presenting the Evidence?

The Quran warns us not to accept any evidence that we have not 'verified' and also warns us in accepting evidence from 'wicked' parties:

"O you who believe, if a wicked person brings any news to you, you shall first investigate, lest you commit injustice towards some people, out of ignorance, then become sorry and remorseful for what you have done." (49:6)

The news that has been coming-out regarding the events of 9/11 have all been controlled through the investigative channels of the US government and have been fed to the press.

- This is a government built on the rights of the native Americans who were herded into 'reservations' and many of them massacred;

- This is the same government which told its people that Germany had sunk one of its ships to enter WWI (the ship it turned out was well in-tact with no such incident ever taking place);

- This is the same government which dropped TWO atomic bombs on civilians in Hiroshima & Nagasaki!;

- This is the same government which created a big foe in 'Communism' and led to the Cold War which eventually led to the demise of the Soviet Union (during WWII, the US and USSR were allies against Germany - USSR was a Communist state then as well as later);

- This is the same government which instigated the Korean war, and then later invented a crisis to place its forces in Vietnam;

- This is the same government which propagated the Gulf War by using the false testimony of the Kuwaiti Ambassador's daughter to Congress (she said she was a nurse in Kuwait and saw the Iraqi atrocities to the babies in the hospital);

- This is the same government which is still holding an 'embargo' against Iraq which has caused the death of over 1/2 million children (according to UNICEF). The US is stating that this decade long embargo is needed to rid Saddam of his weapons - the same weapons that the US government sold him!;

- This is the same government which went in to liberate Kuwait from Iraqi invasion, yet feeds Israel with money and arms to continue its invasion of Palestine!.

- This is the same government who bombed targets in Libya (killing Ghadafi's adopted daughter), and bombed targets in Sudan and Afghanistan (the factory owner in Sudan was later compensated in a civil court ruling, the target in Afghanistan turned out to be a mosque!);

The list goes on and on (click here for more on US terror)...

With the long list of proven acts of 'deception' and 'double standards', it is therefore very clear that under 49:6, we are to INVESTIGATE before supporting any action which will lead to regret later on.

3. The Evidence Presented

Now that we have clarified our position on the actual 'event', let us look into the 'evidence' that has been related through the media and official channels.

1. Hijackers worked in group's of 4-5 per plane and had at least 1 pilot in each group (most possibly 2 pilots, one as a back-up);
2. Hijackers were well trained for this operation for a period not less that 6-months;
3. Hijackers kept low profile and made no telephone calls to give away their plan;
4. Operation was 'well planned' to hijack planes with full fuel loads and within less than an hour all planes were crashed;
5. Hijackers knew about plane security systems and switched the plane 'transponders' off;
6. Pennsylvania plane most probably fell as a result of passengers trying to overtake the hijackers and regain the plane;

The above was the 'initial' evidence that came-out of the crashes, and below is the later evidence which links it with 'Muslims' & 'Bin Laden':

1. Hijackers fought over parking spot, drew attention to a car which had a copy of the Quran and an 'Arabic' flight manual;

2. Hijackers bragged about operation at a bar in Florida a few nights before the attack;

3. One of the hijackers went to a flight school for '6-hours' only to learn how to 'make-turns';

4. Hijackers all had a copy of Arabic instructions on how to conduct the operation (one was left in a carry-on luggage, while another was found in the Pennsylvania debris);

5. A passport of one of the hijackers was found 2-blocks from the WTC crash (in-tact);

6. A telephone call was intercepted immediately after the crash reporting to one of Bin-Laden's aides that 'mission is successful'!;

7. The letter used by the Hijackers began: 'In the name of GOD, my family, and myself' (unheard of in all Islamic circles);

8. The Pennsylvania debris was found as far away as 8-miles;

9. US denied the Pennsylvania plane was ever shot-down, but did later admit that an F-16 was flying close to the plane.

The above information is not only 'contradictory', but some of it actually defies the laws of physics (such as the crashed plane having pieces 8-miles away, or the letter surviving the crash and explosion, or the passport which survived a massive explosion).

To say that these hijackers were 'well-planned' and then say they were leaving this sort of ridiculous evidence and clues is an 'Oxymoron'!.

Also, what seems to not concern all these dedicated news reporters is that such a well carries-out and funded mission did not have ANY PARTY CLAIM TO IT!.

This was not a 'traffic accident', but a well planned and executed attack where lives were lost and the hijackers were on suicide missions...

What good is carrying all this out, and then remaining silent of 'why' it was done' and 'what' were the demands!.

Some people have said that the Hijack backers were 'scared' from the US reaction. I say that if these people were willing to die for their cause and thought that this action was in the service of their religion (Bin Laden's views for example), then they would WELCOME DEATH and not be fearful from any nation nor scared to take responsibility.

After all, if this mission was to be 'effective', then the average Joe in the streets of America should be told WHY this mission was carried-out and what he must do to stop future missions from coming (i.e. stay out of Palestine, or stop bombing Iraq, etc..)

4. Black or White?

Now that we have looked at some of the 'basic' elements in the case, we can see that this will NOT be a matter of 'Black or White' as the US government tried to paint it.

In-fact, being 'coerced' to take sides (for or against) is a crime in itself and leads to 'herding' of people and governments to the wrong path or the wrong conclusions.

A more 'objective/balanced' view leads us to believe that there are many more 'unknowns' which are not being addressed, and that the 9/11 event does not justify the movement of US forces to the Middle East, nor does it justify the blatant attack on Islam that has been carried out (as we said, saying Muslims did this attack is an Oxymoron since it defies the laws of GOD - and therefore its perpetrators can no longer be Muslims).

"They commit a gross sin, then say, "We found our parents doing this, and GOD has commanded us to do it." Say, "GOD never advocates sin. Are you saying about GOD what you do not know?" (7:28)

5. Choices!

With all that we have said, it is then a question of 'where do you stand'?.

If you are American, do you fall for the traps of 'Nationalism' and blindly support your government without asking for CONCRETE EVIDENCE?.

If you are a Muslim, do you cower away from GOD's religion because the entire world community has turned against you?.

If you are neither, do you support the US policies to show your own resentment and hatred of a religion which has come to 'liberate' mankind and set people back to the service of GOD through peace, sharing, and mutual respect?.

6. The Great Fitna!

For the Muslims, I urge you to reflect on the following:

"Among the people there are those who say, "We believe in GOD," but as soon as they suffer any hardship because of GOD, they equate the people's persecution with GOD's retribution. But if blessings from your Lord come your way, they say, "We were with you." Is GOD not fully aware of the people's innermost thoughts?" (29:10)

Will you turn because the pressure is great?. Or will you STAND FIRM to what GOD has revealed?.

Conclusion

We at Free-Minds will STAND FIRM to the system of Islam and we will continue to propagate and support this system until it exposes all other system!.

"He is the One who sent His messenger with the guidance and the system of truth, and will make it dominate all other systems, in spite of the idol worshipers." (9:33)
